A nice park at a former battlefield. Giveing you a short history of the battle fought there. Right in the middle of downtown. Parking is near by. Nearby is a lot of other museums and city information centre.

Hubby and I happened upon this battlefield site while meandering near the visitor center. We're both interested in American war history, so we took time to read the educational signs erected on the property. Turns out that Spring Hill Redoubt is the site of one...More

We actually stopped by there twice and would've liked to see the reenactment but it wasn't available then. The park is small and really hasn't much to it without the storytelling.

Nice enough restoration and information plaque describing a very bloody battle with heavy American and French losses. Would be best seen with reenactors present.

It is located next to the children museum ant it is reconstructed in a way that makes it suitable for kids. They love running between the fortifications and climb the walls.

Nice Restored British fort and stone markers for the revolutionary battle of Savannah. The restored fort and field are not large, best to pair with the revolutionary reenactor tour guide. Don't miss the stone markers with history of various countries and participants. Best for history...More

This place is shown on all tourist maps and it seems to be a reasonable place to visit, but, frankly, in Savannah there are plenty of authentic places to visit. This area is recently developed and feels artificial.

Great information told by our own "South Carolina militia man." He was full of knowledge and the reenactment of the battle scene was so much fun! Very interactive and great for the littles :)
