The Arkansas Martin Luther King Commission is planning a program at the museum and the staff was extremely helpful with our questions. Also they have interesting exhibits that reflect the rich history of Fort Smith.

The Fort smith museum of history is very interesting and educational concerning the region's history. Of which, there is plenty. Privately funded and maintained it is a local treasure.
