I live nearby and am lucky to have this as my prime climbing gym. As mentioned in other reviews the size of the gym is on the smaller side but extremely high quality per square inch. Great staff everytime I have used the gym and all routes are very well taken care of! Definitely recommended!

A great place for beginners to start. Initially intimidating until you learn to trust the harnessing and equipment. It would be best for beginners to consider bringing chalk for their hands. None is provided, or if so, is provided at additional cost. The instruction given by the employees was always friendly and just the right amount. I having no experience... More

I travel frequently for work and I always check out the local climbing gym in whatever town I am in. I have to say, I was BLOWN AWAY by The Source. I didn't expect much initially (smaller than most mega gyms by today's standards), but when I walked in and realized how much attention to detail there was - it... More

Always the best climbing ! It's true it is not a huge gym BUT the best routes that take skill and patience. Every single staff member is awesome, they really take notice to you build relationships that make you feel welcome. The top rope is great they do have auto belays, the lead looks amazing (I'm not yet ready for... More

In a few days, my wife and her brother will be attempting a summit attempt on Mt. Hood - but yesterday, we decided to make a stop at the Source to check out the indoor climbing scene in Vancouver. While we've climbed at bigger gyms, we were impressed by the routes that were set, the variety of top rope climbs... More

This place is owned and operated by a great group of people. Great for the entire family, or even solo; you can always get a belay from another friendly member too. Everyone is great, unlike other "Stuffy" gyms that can intimidate the first-timer, this place is perfect for someone learning to climb, or the 5.10 lead climber looking to improve... More

The Source is a great climbing gym with top rope, bouldering, lead climbing, and even a kids area upstairs. The gym is clean and well lit, and the routes are challenging and fun. The staff is very helpful and glad to give you tips and pointers if you are a novice, like my wife and I were when we first... More
