For the history buff, you will appreciate this place. Again, it was a sad time in our history. Take time to experience this Confederate Cemetry.

Mix of confederate soldiers and community. Soldiers are buried at the very back of the cemetery. Watch your step as ground is uneven.

What a beautiful place. It is hard to imagine a place that was created by so much violence. This site only tales about an hour and is worth the time it takes to visit,

Hopefully this monument to fallen soldiers will never be removed. People seem to be forgetting that these southern men were fighting for their families, homes and country.

A tour of Fredericksburg's historic Civil War sites would not be complete without a visit to this site and the National Cemetery.

Another resting place for brave en fallen in battle. A place where the horrors of battle can be counted with each marker.
