Beautiful craftsmanship in a large building kept at 25 degrees. But don't worry, warm parkas are provided. Where else can you consume an appletini in a carved ice martini glass. If you are really brace you can rent a room in there too, as well as get married! And a few steps away is the Chena Hot Springs! It warms... More

The ice museum and ice sculptures within are really unique and very beautiful! It's very cold in the museum but they have coats to borrow which are very warm! We enjoyed hearing the stories about the carvings and watching as the staff makes the drink glasses to serve the appletini drinks which are available for purchase. This attraction was definiitely... Yes, this is a very goof experience to see the ice sculptures and drink glasses made out of ICE. Very good food. Lots of tourists, so eat an early salad/dinner. 60 miles out of Fairbanks, good road but watch the bumps & dips in the road. Over night lodging is on site.

The sculptures are incredible. They offer jackets before you enter the museum in case you didn't bring one or want to stay extra warm. It's pretty cold inside. The apple martini is served in a ice glass for you to keep, very cool. It wasn't bad tasting either. Too bad you can only have one.

Interesting sculptures and more interesting is the way they are done and maintained. It was nice that we had freedom to really look and the coats they provided were warm.

A makeshift hotel where everything is made of ice. It was colder than the outside, and we are talking Alaska here. I think you can actually book to spend the night here. Gorgeous ice sculptures. You can have a martini in a glass made of ice. And, as a plus, you can even see the artist working on the ice... More

The ice museum was nice but nothing great. Chena has lots of other great stuff to offer, this was mediocre in my opinion. But, give it a try if you are there.

It's small, but it's was worth seeing. Our guide was great. She took the time to explain about the artists and the process and made a delicious appletini.

Its a well laid home with furniture and fixtures - all carved out of ice. Very thoughtfully planned, including a bar wherein the stools for sitting are also made of ice! Despite the chill inside, its so sweet n cozy!!
