UAF is a beautiful spread out campus with an amazing history, modern additions and incredible staff. The museum on campus is amazing. You could spend hours and hours there. Don't forget to check out their ice hockey rink also.

My wife and I spent a wonderful morning and afternoon at the museum. Great displays and very informative movies about the whole region. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the interior of Alaska.

We stopped at the university because we have teenagers looking at colleges. The school specializes in Geophysics and liberal arts. The campus is beautiful. It's located on top of a hill for awesome sunset watching, and it's surrounded by very nice hiking trails.

This museum is filled with incredible art and artifacts. A multimedia approach is used to tell the history, culture, and natural history of this great state.

Nice new campus, to much to see. Disappoint by the Art Museum, no real art, just artifacts. Understand they recently had major financial cutbacks

UAF is a great place to visit. With the museum, the large animal research station and some lesser known attractions, you could easily spend your entire day on campus. And during the month of July, the Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre put on it's annual main attraction...More

Be prepared to walk or drive yourself. There is bus service which you have to wait a bit depending on time of the day. The Museum is beautifully displayed, though smaller than I imagined.
