Our five trips to Fairbanks over the past sixteen years have always included frequent visits to Gullivers. They provided us with our holiday reading by way of a generous price trading scheme with the second hand books upstairs along with combined coffee shop. We have spent hours in this warm inviting place.Gullivers has provided us also with a huge selection of... More

I visited this bookstore this past summer. It was a great selection of both new and used books. There were also some great items made by local artists available to purchase as well. This store had two levels of books and included a coffee shop upstairs. Overall, a great local bookstore!

Great selection of books and other items. Some pricey. Children's area is cute and offers a wide selection. Bargain bins around the store offer discount books as well as the upstairs. Cafe was busy and many people were sitting around chatting and working. Very friendly staff.

I love bookstores that sell both new and used books, and I love bookstores with food. I spent a lot of time at Gulliver's, but that was definitely because I love books, not because it was a gigantic store. It was nice, with two levels and plenty to browse through. Best of all, if you're from the area or spending... More

Charming and quaint (bookstore and café) but for tourists to Fairbanks, Gulliver's is one of the very few places here for great food that won't empty your wallet. Most dining and food in FBKS is very disappointing with a huge bill after any meal. I've never experienced this at Gulliver's; I've lived here 20 years. THURSDAYs ARE THE BEST! Hungarian... More

I just love this bookstore. Thankfully it has a small coffee shop, where you can get something to drink and to eat. I just wanted to stay there the whole day. It has also a nice used book section. And a really nice selection of gifts to bring back home. A very helpful staff. What can I say more? if... More

Yeah, these guys are awesome, and have been so for years! And they make great food upstairs- its a good place to unwind and get a bite to eat- find and read something good! And they have good sales, if like me, you are on a budget... Visitors should definitely plan a hour here- you can get good book material... More

We enjoyed two hours browsing the used books upstairs in Gulliver's and eating some delicious made-to-order wraps and steaming Chai tea. It was a terrific respite that even our two kids enjoyed!

Ever since I've moved here I've gone to Gulliver's first for any book I may want, especially travel guides (local and abroad). The prices are reasonable for gently used books and the variety is plentiful on occasion (I find Spring cleaning bumps up the inventory dramatically) The downstairs usually has an array of unique chotchki (some Alaska Made) that I...
