A "must" if you're into planes, and worthwhile if you're not!

We went here with average expectations and walked away quite impressed with the breath and depth of the museum's exhibits, informative displays and collection of planes. If... read more

We heard great things about this place but it was hard to get info on places being open in winter. So for those of you going during winter months, they aren't open. I think we would've enjoyed this so much but many places do close in Fairbanks for winter. So nothing so much positive or negative as much as letting... More

We went here with average expectations and walked away quite impressed with the breath and depth of the museum's exhibits, informative displays and collection of planes. If you're interested in planes, particularly those of a vintage, this place is a must see. If not, well, the history of manned flight in Alaska is worthwhile as well. We especially enjoyed the... A huge variety of collections made this place a great stop! I spent about half my two hour visit in this museum. It's free as well!

They had all kinds of planes and the guys are helpful with trying to answer questions. It is amazing to see the different planes that are there. Great job.

While we were in Pioneer Park we did go to this museum. Being this was our last day we had already been to quite a few museums and we were getting a little tired. Plus most of the museums had a mustiness smell.

Part of the Pioneer Park experience, this place is a blast. Well laid out, organized, but small enough to keep your attention. Thoroughly enjoyed all the aviation history of Alaska.

Lots of interesting things to see, very inexpensive, the museum is in the pioneer Park. Lots of planes and our grandkids got to set in a helicoper

There are some complete airplanes and some wreckage from plane crashes, focusing on Alaska's history in aviation. Plus a "UFO" and a US Army helicopter. Probably the most interesting place in all of Pioneer Park.

This is a small but interesting museum about the history of flight in Alaska. We spent about an hour walking around and looking at the planes, artifacts and memorabilia. It's located inside Pioneer Park which has free admission, but the air museum admission is $4 (kids under 12 free). I wouldn't go out of my way to see this, but... More

I could be there all day. The people there are so friendly. If you need a wheel chair just ask and they can help. Must see.
