Had a great time walking the bridge, seeing the ships, and having a cold one in Brooklyn. We walked before sundown and came back at nightfall...the lights, the feel, the experience...and a little drizzle gave it the feel needed to be part of the experience

The bridge is well worth a visit. It's architecture is brilliant and the view back to Manhattan is brilliant. A nice walk across, but you have to be fit.

Walking the bridge is a must - sometimes quite narrow, and with walking and cylists sharing a narrow lane, can get rather congested. Offers great views!

It is completely safe. Still crowded but not as bad as on a nice day. Anywhere there are that many tourists is going to be very safe

I think it took us about 45 mins to stroll across the bridge - walking slowly with stops to read info/graffiti & admire the view. We took the quick 1-stop ferry hop from Pier 11 on the Manhattan side over to the Brooklyn... More
