One of the more crowded beaches you'll ever see, the promenade out into the ocean is alone worth the trip. Throw in the Cyclone Roller Coaster, Nathan's Hot Dogs, The Brooklyn Cyclones with the Iconic Parachute Jump as a backdrop and you've taken a trip back in time when Brooklyn was Brooklyn

I've heard a lot about Coney Island so felt I had to pay a visit on my trip to NYC. It took us quite a while to get there but it was all included on our metro card. Despite it being October, it was a lovely warm day and we walked along the promenade from Coney Island to Brighton Beach.... More

If you're in NYC in the summer, you have to go to Coney Island. Be prepared for trash and people constantly trying to sell you things. But if you can get over how tacky it is then you will thoroughly enjoy your time there. The rides are pricey but the roller coasters and Ferris wheel are worth it. Be sure... More

My visit was during the day and it was a place that I wanted to see. My visit included Nathans and a walk down the Boardwalk. I even saw a store that had " Warriors " shirts.

This is a place to go for the history of the amusement parks and Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs. Plus seeing the old time amusements along with the new ones .

I've always wanted to visit Coney Island but I've never been in New York during the right season. This time I decided to go anyway, and I'm really glad I did. Coney Island out of season means far fewer tourists crowding up the boardwalk, so I had the whole place virtually to myself. I spent a pleasant afternoon strolling along... More

Sunny day November - the boardwalk has a regular stream of strollers, but apart from that the whole area is like a ghost town. A tiny number of businesses including Nathan's are open. Unless you've done just about everything you want to do in NYC or, like us, you're on a food pilgrimage for Gargiulo's clams and Totonno's pizza then... More

This is a place that will take you down memory lane. I had a great time walking around and reflecting. This is a place you would go to if you wish to revisit your youth. It has scaled down completely but still worth the trip.

I couldn't remember exactly the last time I was here . Decided to. Ring my kids and friends on a recent visit to NY. Taking into consideration is Fall, it had a lot of people in the. Boardwalk. Rides were open and they had many activities for the kids...Halloween was close. We had a good time.
