I manage to make time for a stop at Butter every time I visit my sister who lives nearby in Fort Greene. I would say I've been shopping there about three years and have never walked away empty handed. I love the carefully curated pick from each designer they carry (some of the BEST like Martin Margiela, Dries Van Noten,... More

Good selection of cutting edge designers but buyers beware: no return policy -- only exchange for store credit. And heaven help the woman who has changed her mind about a previous purchase. Try to bring something back and they glare at you and accuse you of having worn the merchandise!

Nice selection of designer goods, but completely overpriced and service is ridiculously snobby. Used to make the trek there from Manhattan periodically but was always met with attitude and the staredown from sales people -- not worth the train ride.

Butter @389 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn is a great place to shop...their special shoes, bags, accessories and clothing are all unique. Plus, It's a fun place to shop. I know Butter has been featured in LUCKY Magazine as a special place to shop in Brooklyn. I love to shop at Butter.
