Highly recommend this ferry. You can see views of NYC, Empire State, Wall Street and other places. You could pay ton of money for formal tour boat or 2.75 for same views. Great find and highly recommend!

Delightful way to enter the city. Fresh air messing the hair, wind in your face. At 2.75 it's an excursion. When dealing with the subway on a hot and humid day it was absolutely exceptional.

After the 5 Boro Bike Ride, I had to get back to my hotel (The Brooklyn, A Hotel). Instead of fight the turnstiles in the subway with my bike, I chose to take the ferry - it was easy, fun and very pretty.

Taking from the first time from Bay Ridge to Wall Street. Nice views topside, cooler inside with the AC. $2.75 one way, $1 extra because I brought my bike. Wish I could commute to work this way. Has a bar ($6 beers).

Great way to get downtown. It will take you about five minutes once on the ferry. Be sure and take in the views as before you know it, its over!

Yes, luggage is permitted, as long as you are respectful of other passengers and don't take up too much space. There are designated areas for parking strollers, and there is an additional fee for bringing a bicycle on board... More
