So many restaurants to choose from all different types of places. Most restaurants and bars are family friendly! Prospect park is close by.. so walk on over for a picnic or a bike ride! Also farmers markets, flea markets and outdoor festivals during the warmer months!!!

Park Slope somehow became a tourist destination but there's not a lot to see. Plenty of places to eat and nice brownstones but the neighborhood has attracted a lot of hedge fund types and is getting decidedly un-artsy.

Park slope offers a myriad of choices of restaurants, shops, or just a great place to take a walk. I have eaten in several restaurants there and always found them to be quite good. You can walk in the park or just take a walk around the neighborhoods and see all the beautiful brownstones up-and-down the many streets. This is... More

I had wanted to see this area for a long time and the buildings are just stunning. Long rows of brownstones almost any street you walk down. I snapped quite a few photos and then spent some time over on 7th Ave which has a lot of nice cafes, shops.

I love all of the Goorin Bros. locations and visit them whenever I travel. Each store is unique and always staffed with very cool helpful people. My daughter and I were in town for a wedding and wanted to do a little bit of shopping. We had so much fun in the store and so did Calvin! The address: 195... More

Fairly quiet neighborhood with convenient subway stops. Brooklyn's 5th Avenue is a treasure trove of shops and restaurants.

This area of Brooklyn was beautiful and well maintained. The Brownstones were gorgeous with lovely ornate doors etc .. definitely worth the time with a warm cup of coffee in your hand and a friend to talk to.

Lived and worked here in the late 90's early 2000's. It truly is the brooklyn oasis, very nice, peaceful out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
