This promenade is a superb place to take photos of the Manhattan sky line, by day and by night. Also good views of the Statue of Liberty and the famous Brooklyn Bridge. Plenty of seating and small eateries nearby for drinks and snacks.

I have wanted to see Manhattan from this viewpoint for 6 years. It's breathtaking. We were lucky enough to visit in the spring and the flowering trees and read-to-open tulips made the walk very special.

Brooklyn heights have one if not the best views of the NY skyline. You'll see the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge, as well as the One World Trade Center. Especially on a nice, clear day or night.
