It is one of the best views of downtown NYC. Thank goodness is was saved as the BQE almost took it away from us.

I have visited the promenade since the 1990s. It has improved with time but with the same amazing views of Manhattan. It's a romantic walk in a historic neighborhood.

This is a great place to walk along and have a look at the scenery across the river and over to Manhattan. There are plenty of seats and you can walk down from Clarke street station.

Beautiful place to stroll, take a rest on many of the benches, see the Statue of Liberty, watch the ferries crossing the river and enjoy the magnificent Brooklyn Bridge. The Promenade is adjacent to a great neighborhood with fabulous restaurants on Montague and Court Streets.

There are so many places to get lost in Brooklyn ... in a good way. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is one of those places. It has friendly people, but not so many you can't move. There are plenty of clean places to sit and enjoy the view. Even with a cold wind coming in, the walk was thoroughly enjoyable.

See Lower Manhattan from a great perspective. The Promenade offers a look at New York that harkens back to a bygone era with the exception of all the new construction taking place below. It vibrates NYC with the Ferry, River traffic, copters and the overall vibrancy of the City. It's particularly beautiful at night.

The Brooklyn Promenade is absolutely one of the most peaceful places in all of New York. The picturesque view at night is unreal. It's easily one of the most romantic spots in all of the city, especially on a late Spring/early Autumn night.
