I've been going to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade for years and still find it beautiful. After a walk along the promenade you can walk a few streets over and have lunch/dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Super place to hang around and take pictures.. There is barbecue for public, a great boardwalk to jog. Take a walk from Clark street to the river, continue to the Brooklyn bridge.

Could not be better place to relax on a steamy summer visit than this stretch of the East River. So much to do for residents and visitors alike.

When the weather is good, a walk on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a good idea. It is not too touristy and the view of Manhattan is great.
