Nestled where Brooklyn meets the sea, you can go on the fishing boats, walk by the water, and dine at a variety of restaurants. All at an unhurried pace.

Nice to see old style family neighborhoods like this still exist. Ny has changed so much. Sheepshead bay still keeping it real.

don't go to Emmons avenue in sheepshead bay,especially on weekends.traffic is abhorrent and the drivers are insane.they will threaten to kill you,curse you and attack you if you get in their way. Parking is non-existent as more so-called luxury building go up.these buildings are big...More

Sheepshead Bay is the closest you get to a seaside town in Brooklyn. The side streets that lead up to the beach are lined with beautiful old homes. I had many friends that lived in them way back when I went to Lincoln High School....More

I live in Sheepshead Bay and would recommend visiting the area when in NYC. We have a beautiful Marina on Emmons Avenue which also host a number of great restaurants.
