The title pretty says it all. This is in a very hip neighborhood. The bar has big wooden tables on the terrace. Beer selection is great, however pricier than some other bars as the beers are mostly foreign (from Germany, Belgium, etc.) Definitely a must...More

Excellent 1 liter beers! 🍺 We went on a Saturday when a band was playing. We got there before they stated playing and got seats. Within the hour the place was packed! Great beer. Tasty huge pretzels served with mustard and beer cheese. Fun atmosphere!!!

For good authentic German cuisine this is the place to go. The pretzels were fresh and the bratwurst the best. The bratwurst is served directly off the grill - you can watch it being cooked. They also serve steak tartare which was sublime. Well worth...More

The beer selection was excellent. Had 3 different sausages all of which were very good. The only criticism is the wait for a waitress was excessive and you have to pay for beer and food seperately. Would have been a 5 star if not for...More

One of the best German beer halls in the city. Great pretzels too and lots of fun to watch sports. Live music also

One of my favorite bars in Brooklyn. I love the vibe, as well as the German draft beer selection. If you want something different, come to this place. The food is also great.

Place gets busy at night, but it's a great place to go with a couple of friends to sit and chat over beers and wursts. Service is prompt, the beer selection is comprehensive (though pretty much all German lagers).

Communal tables add to the fun with a great selection of beer and a grill with German sausages. Live music makes it even better, especially if you can catch Emily Asher's Garden Party. Don't forget to get the Bavarian pretzel to go with the beer.
