Louie was my brothers friend. He used to come up to my moms apartment and hang out all the time. He was a great guy. I'm glad they named this park after Kid Louie. A nice place to visit on a sunny day. Usual local fisherman hanging out good vies of statue and cruise ships in season

My family has become friends with the Valentino's only after the passing of this amazing young man. I will do everything in my power to make sure this park keeps his name. you know how they take away the names of honorees after a few years... Not this time.

Growing up here I am amazed at what was once a derelict and dangerous place can become so beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are well maintained with places for picnicking, fishing, kids bday parties. For Family's: Go fishing with the kids and catch an amazing variety of fish.
