Amazing view

Amazing view of Manhattan even if the wheather is cold, there's an indoor bar where you can also apreciate de view. There are a good selection of beers and cocktails.

This bar is great to visit. The views are stunning, especially at night and the drinks were very good. Prices are including gratuity so it seems a little higher. The staff was kind, music was good and great to be able to sit outside and inside of course.

Highly recommend going here for a few sun-downers for fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline and back over the other side of Brooklyn. Drink menu is more than adequate and crowd/staff unpretentious. Would gladly return anytime. Even on a cloudy day with no sunset, as the day turns to night and the lights of Manhattan wake up, it'd be great... More

Evening drinks with an amazing view. You can see Nyc from the Ides rooftop bar. Nice people, very basic food menu, only fingerfood.

I went here with my husband on our 1st night in NYC the view is spectacular. It was busy but lots of tables were reserved but empty. I guess that is to be expected at 9.30pm on a summer Sunday evening. We stood outside on the terrace and had our drinks. Drinks prices are a little high for Brooklyn but... More

Hipster hangout with super views. Gratuity free, but drinks are on the high range even for NYC. Great view of Manhattan. We were there on an extremely hot day so no one was really outside. Felt sorry for the outside bartender; thought he might melt. Oddly enough he was really the only friendly bartender. The inside bartenders had little or... More

Decided to head here on our last night in NYC regardless of the bad reviews thinking that maybe they had improved their service. Unfortunately not. There isn't any outdoor seating unless you have table service and there's limited area inside that has a view. Honestly all of the staff were great and accomodating but one was rude and made us... The hotel is all the way in Williamsburg but it is worth it to see Manhattan from its rooftop. The bar is cool and hip. Must go early in the night since doors close around 10pm. They have an outside terrace as well. Gratuity free is great for NYC..

The selling point is the great views of the city, from inside the bar and out on the terrace. Cocktails were good, obviously on the pricier side but you're paying for the view too

My experience here was extremely unpleasant. The bar manager berated my girlfriend and other female guests in the vicinity because he thought they had moved a rope by the viewpoint area. He used very vulgar language and violated their personal space. He then went on to say he doesn't care of any reviews are left about his behavior, which makes... More
