We came here for "A Streetcar Named Desire" specifically to see Gillian Anderson. She was amazing!! We were so impressed with this venue and would definitely travel to see another show here in the future! It was easy to get to with a reasonable parking garage a block away. The building was clean and beautifully done. I loved that they... More

Love what they've done down here. The theater is fantastic with great shows and variety. Being able to walk outside during intermission, go on the carousel, get something interesting to eat and walk to and from the Brooklyn Bridge: priceless.

As a venue for shows, this place is beautifully designed. But I don't know how management vet their hires. I'm a member and I'm saying this. On three separate occasions and from different employees there, I've received and perceived what can only be described as snobbishness in the extreme. It's like going to a restaurant where the food is great... More

I came here for A Streetcar Named Desire with Ben Foster and Gillian Anderson. The theater is great. Seating in the round/square. Comfortable airy space. Decent food and snacks available for purchase. Great show and venue.

We were there to see ' a streetcar name desire'. The seatings were excellent, you can see well from everywhere. The stage is in the middle. The surroundings are fun. We went to many venues and this one is fantastic.

What a fabulous play to see a production. The theater is small enough to let you feel connected to the characters on the stage in a way that's impossible in a larger theater. For those who like refreshment they had an interesting array of goodies to nibble on, from pickles to peanuts to cookies. Adult beverages too. Note: you are... More

I'm a big Gillian Anderson fan, and we planned our US vacation around the time she would be starring as Blanche Dubois in the New York production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, which we'd missed in London a few years back. St. Ann's was very responsive to general queries I had via Facebook prior to our trip, and... More

For 3 hours, the soul of Gillian Anderson was inhabited by Blanche Dubois in a stunning version of Streetcar Named Desire. It was a riveting performance of the character, reminding us that there are those for whom this world is too much to bear, who are driven to create their own reality amongst the rest of us rough hewn players.... Great place to see a play. Nice lobby, great sight lines and comfortable chairs. I saw Street Car Named Desire with Jillian Anderson and it was gut wrenchingly wonderful. She was incredibly good. The whole cast was good, but she was just phenomenal. The oblong stage slowly revolves which allows for interesting viewing. Then when it's over, you're right on... More

Right beneath the shadow of the Brooklyn bridge, we took the streetcar named Desire and our lives changed. If you can make it while it's still on, make sure you don't miss the astonishing/mindblowing performance by Gillian Anderson in the prolific Tennessee Williams' play.
