I am not an avid hiker, so this hike from the center was not easy, but very doable for the average person. There's boardwalks, snow, ups and downs, but well worth the views all along the trail. Then you are rewarded when you finally get...More

This was a fabulous walk across the ice and snow to the amazing views of Hidden Lake. Make sure you have decent shoes, walking sandals and flip flops were no good last week, as still so much snow.

The hike to the Overlook is such an interesting climb on wood planked trails, over snow, rocks, thru water and mud. It is fantastic! We saw Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, and marmots. We carried bear spray, but fortunately we didn't run into any bears....More

Don't stop at the overlook. Continue on down to the lake. Got a little strenuous walking in the snow up to the overlook (about 90% covered), but the snow cleared up past the overlook for the most part. Although it snowed on us on the...More

I did this hike the last week in June. Most of the hike was in the snow. Was glad I had trekking poles-I think I would recommend them even if there is less snow. This is a beautiful hike at the top of the park....More

Your skills sound advanced. Your Crypt hike was far more and the Ice Berg that you are asking will also be advanced. The Hidden Lake was tourist driven and not really a hard climb (board bridges/well-traveled dirt "very... More

Everyone has answered your question already, which is, it depends on how soon in the summer season Logan Pass is opened which depends on snow levels & weather. My understanding is the goal is to have open by July making... More
