A superb fishing lake where catching 20-inch fish is common.

This brief 3 mile round trip hike is a must-do. Most of it is on boardwalks so you have secure footing the whole way. If you are not used to hiking, there is some elevation gain so be sure to pack some water.

One the best trails in the park, not to be missed! Views are incredible and not a difficult hike. Kids can definitely have fun!

This hike is a pretty easy trek out to Hidden Lake. Unfortunately, we were able to do it in the midst of the Sprague Wildfire. When we arrived at the scenic overlook we could see the lake under a haze of smoke. On a clear...More

A great hike to the overlook. Most impressive part of the hike is the boardwalk that has been paved to save the fragile sub-alpine environment. To reach the overlook, it is about a 1.5mi and then there is a steep descent to reach the lake....More

Beautiful and easy hike. Loved the wildflowers, mountains, lakes, views, and wildlife (we saw horned sheep and a couple bears). We arrived at 8 am and had no problem hiking. Restrooms are available at the bottom, as well as a place to get water. Highly...More

Easy hike to see more of Glacier National's beauty. Located near busy Logan Pass. Would suggest getting to the trail head early because it was a busy trail.

The 2 mile walk/hike to the top wasn't too bad, broad walk with gravel trail. You pass alpine flowers that are out of this world and little critters, marmot, etc..that amuse you. Once you get to the top, you will be rewarded with a fantastic...More

Some elevation gain, but the terrain is very easy (first mile or so is mostly boardwalk). We hiked it with a large group, including 3 children (under age 2) in baby backpack carriers. Beautiful views of the lake, Logan's Pass, and many mountains in the...More

Logan Pass parking - less than desirable after 8am and you will be circling the lot hoping to find someone pulling out at just the right time. Hidden lake overlook trail - very wide trail that is mostly "board walk" style hiking. It is a...More

Everyone has answered your question already, which is, it depends on how soon in the summer season Logan Pass is opened which depends on snow levels & weather. My understanding is the goal is to have open by July making... More

The Going to the Sun road must be open to access Hidden Lake. There are many other options for great hikes. Avalanche Lake is beautiful. Many beautiful hikes in the Two Medicine area.
