Stop in cool off, learn about Alberta. See the T Rex in the lobby it's very cool. Pick up some maps and brochures. Staff is helpful.if your heading north to Canada from Glacier this is a good find.Lots of parking on the side of the...More

Stopped here en route to Alberta. Very helpful staff with lots of information and maps. Nice visitors center with a bobsled the kids could sit in. If you’re going north, definitely stop in.

We came to this visitor center with no plan on what to do in Canada or where to go other than Banff and Jasper National Parks. And our only timeline was the day we needed to be back in California by. Despite this complete lack...More

It is just an information center, but a good one! A nice building, too. I hope it entices you enough to make the trip to Waterton Lakes National Park - a bit of a drive, but feasible - and a beautiful place!

We stopped to learn about RV reservations in Banff. Good thing we did as the campgrounds were beginning to fill. Emma, the young lady who assisted us was friendly, efficient and knew her stuff. She made reservations for us and plotted our route to Banff....More

Hi, The Travel Alberta West Glacier Visitor Centre is currently open from 8am-6pm, but those hours will reduce at the end of the week to fall hours 9:15-5pm.
