The views at the scenic turn offs are well worth the stop! Also at the visitors center go up to the top level to park and picnic and get a wonderful view of Lake Powell. Walk across the dam street for some really good views. The Horseshoe Bend is a few miles away.

Very nice rv park. Huge sites. Lake activities primary focus. Everthing over priced. Not for avg family. Dinner cruise nice but not worth price. Indian tours $$ but booked up days in advance. 7 hr cruise may be better.

This place was happening. I can imagine for the summer, it will be very busy. We took the boat ride that you can sign up for at the national park, It was beautiful. The whole area of Page is so scenic. We went to the restaurant to eat after we got off the boat ride. Such good food. Great atmosphere.... More

We hadn't meant to venture out here, but we're glad we did. The kids got a stamp for their NPS passports, and the view from the bridge was amazing. THEN, we got to see a nesting condor in the cliff. He was inside a small cave, but came out and stretched his wings before going back to the egg. The... More

We had a fantastic time in Glen Canyon and saw both the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend which are both amazing. I'll share that in every Park, we've visited the visitor center and the park rangers gave us excellent advice. We were going to do Hanging gardens but the ranger shared it is not too spectacular. Instead he recommended Bucktank... More

The view of Glen Canyon from the Navajo Bridge is beautiful. We were fortunate to be there the day , Alan Clampett and his wife, members of the Peregrine Fund, were on the bridge with a telescope that allowed us to view a condor sitting on his egg, in his nest, in the wall of the canyon. It was amazing!!!

Dam was under construction, unable to take tour. Nice gift shop and scenic lookout. Opportunity for photos and to stretch legs. Got our stamp for our National Parks Passport too!

We took the boat tour at late afternoon at the Marina. Our tour was not crowded...there were only 4 couples and we had a great guide who was knowledgable about the dam and the geology of the area. We had taken the Lower Antelope Canyon tour early in the morning and decided to take this opportunity to see the canyon... More
