Stopped here on way from the Grand Canyon to Zion National Park. Was a good opportunity to rest a bit, take a lovely boat cruise and learn a bit about the dam system put in by Eisenhower in the 50's.

We were not familiar with this dam but it was on our route to the Grand Canyon. It was really an amazing feat and part of the dam system put in by Eisenhower in the 50's. Due to the time, we did not take the...More

We visited the village of Wahweap, there are plenty of sightseeing places and an amazing beach where you can swim in warm waters with a magnificent view of the canyon. There are plenty of parking spots and this place doesn't seem to get crowded.

We rented a ski boat for $525. We were on the water all day. It is a fantastic place to go. The views are stunning. You can stop and swim and play and cl##f jump. This is well worth the money.

This National park was part of our itinerary for our vacation. We rented a boat for 4 hours and explored the lake and canyons. It was definitely worth the visit, just remember that it is a National park and a fee is required.
