Loved it!!! The Visitors Center was awesome and we loved the movie! The kids had tons of fun searching for the birds and the photos I got were awesome! A definite must see and do!

I took my children down to see the birds but the roads were closed at the time so we just went through the visitor center and it was fun for them.

I went in June a few years ago and it was extremely dry and there were hardly any birds out. The prime time to visit is May

They are usually not bad anytime during the year. I have spent a lot of time on the refuge and have never been bitten by a mosquito. It would still be a good idea to have se repellant just in case. Midges can be bad... More
