This is an amazing little museum that offers a view of the life of Jesus as depicted in dioramas in wax. It is tastefully done with a self-guided tour. Each scene has a narrator that speaks before moving to the next. It takes about 40-45 minutes to complete. There is also a nice little "mini museum" that is free to... More

On our recent trip to Gatlinburg, my wife and I toured the Museum and Gardens. The Museum is amazing as you walk through 12 Biblical Scenes with narration, mood lighting and inspirational music at each scene. The life-size figures at each scene were so expertly made they almost seem to come alive. The Face Of Christ Sculpture in the Gardens... More

We just parked here because we wanted the money to go to for a good cause and we've already seen the museum. But when we went to pay for parking, they were not very friendly and sent us back outside to an attendant who was not there when we came in. She explained that he was on his lunch break... More

Overall a good experience. Musty smell throughout but always love to hear the story of Jesus' life and love for us. Thank you for keeping this place open.

Several different rooms comprised of larger than life size mannequins take you on a journey following his life from birth thru crucifixion and resurrection accompanied with scripture and secular music choices. A very moving tribute. This museum sits at the very base of the Smoky Mountains and was spared by the engulfing fires of October 2016.

First time visit and we enjoyed it. The tour is very well put together and it was not crowded at all. The staff was super friendly.

The museum is a quiet place to walk and around and reflect the life of Christ. The wax figures are life size and depict different scenery from the stories in the Bible.

We've been coming here for years. Well done dioramas of the life of Jesus using full human size figures. The inside gardens are pretty especially with the monument of Jesus and his "following eyes". The outside gardens need serious help. Overgrown bushes and broken statuary. And to answer the question about the Gatlinburg Fire...."no, Christ in the Smokies" did not... More
