We arrived just after 9am on a Monday morning so we were first here. We were attended to immediately and told they were still setting up but they would get us going ASAP. We sat watching the wild turkeys and everyone setting up for the day. We had opted for the 1 hour ride as we were leaving Gatlinburg to... More

My fiance brought me to Gatlinburg for the first time to visit as he wanted to share some of his childhood memories with me. We went horseback riding for the first time as well as this was on my bucketlist :) I had a really awesome time even though I was a bit scared. Those mountains are high. AWESOME TIME... More

This was the most extreme horseback riding experience I've had. The trail takes you up a steep mountain and the horses really walk along the edge. You really have to trust your horse! Our guide was nice and pointed out a black bear to us. The views were epic! We went on the 1.5 hour trail and the horses really... More

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the experience at sugarland stables. Mr. Kenneth was super sweet and let our little one sit on a horse before the big kids got to ride. He also gave my daughter a horseshoe souvenir :) my husband and kids really enjoyed the trail ride and we will definitely be back again so momma can take a... More

Our family of 12 (aged 10 and up) had an incredible 1 1/2 hour trail ride through valleys, near streams, and along hillsides. We arrived soon after opening and didn't wait at all to get paired with appropriate horses (all mild-tempered and beautiful). David and Josh were our guides are gave easy instructions and kept great eyes on the horses... More

We had a great time today. We decided to ride for an hour and half. Price was very worth it for that length of time. The staff was great by pairing us up to the correct horse, no matter our size. We got to ride, Mellow Yellow, Bell, Blossom, and Chance. The weather was cold but the view of the... More

The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and knowledgeable. The owner was full of wisdom, knowledge, and was extremely friendly. The horses were extraordinarily mindful and respectful. The saddles and equipment where well taken care of and all the horses were tacked up securely and well. The trail was GORGEOUS!!!! Could not have asked for better scenery. The horses handled the mountains... More
