I thought it was really cool being able to walk through history and step to what happened during the revolution war. Go to the visitor center to get the guide, and you can go on a walking self guided tour. Great experience for history lovers like myself!

If you are looking for a peaceful walk with some historical significance and exhibits then this is the place. Lots of prepared trails with interesting spots of information about the war of independence battles in that area. There is plenty of nature about too. Worth a visit

Nice movies and displays in the visitor center depicting the events. Also well done guide booklets and panels showing the trail outside and what can be found there. Pick a nice day to wander the trails and read the historic signs but you can also drive to each one as everything is well marked. Careful of bikers as you drive... More

The best part I think was the welcome center. The displays were interesting, but the movie was fantastic. The National Parks Service does a real fine job an reenactments of events - in this case the Revolutionary War. I'm hard-of-hearing so I particularly liked the subtitles. My wife said she also used them, because some of the participants had heavy... More

Here is a great place for a family or field trip for schools. There are many displays and things to learn here. All the trails are neat & good for just walking for enjoyment. Kids can learn a lot of history here and adults will also enjoy this. If raining , enjoy some of the indoor displays and videos that... More

This is a perfect park for so many things. Great for Walking/ running. Great for picnics. The re-enactment that they have are fabulous. And the museum is something everyone should stop and see at least once.

Very impressed with the videos that emphasize how important this battle was to the founding of our nation. See the short one first. It runs at :15 and :45. Then watch the long video that shows on the hour.

This location is a wonderful spot. It is close enough to many locations to be a day trip. It has numerous trails and great scenery. Well worth exploring and attending one of the many annual events.

Looking for an excellent walking park? Well this is it. Miles of trails along with history stops along the way make this destination one of the best parks around. Very natural but clean and safe. Almost too remote in places but always an adventure.
