Great for history buffs and lovers of Guilford County

This is an interesting and beautifully put together museum promoting the history of Greensboro and Guilford County through much of its history. Definitely worth taking a trip to.

This is the best place to do it. Whether your just visiting Greensboro or moving here, I would highly recommend you set aside a day to experience the wealth of history this museum possesses. Very informative, very interesting and very nicely displayed. I went here with my wife and five children and had such a great time.

The museum is small, but does give you a sense of local history and some very extraordinary exhibits. The museum staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Normally I'd expect to pay for such a fine museum, but this one is free. Expect to spend at least an hour there, or maybe two. There is free parking in the rear of the... More

I went on a tour led by Dylan Tyler and he was fantastic. The museum is chock full of artifacts, and it is a must see if you are in Greensboro

I was with a group of tourist and every fifteen minute a new tour began. The tour of the museum was long enough and not to long. There was time for questions and commentary by both the tour guide and the group. I found that very helpful and informative.

Kids and adults all will find this a great destination. It is ideal for a rainy day activity, and the admission is FREE. There are ample places to discover within this building and the size is deceptive. Plan a good 3 hours or more. Bring a camera and take back family photos of a day in the city.

Finding the Greensboro Historical Museum was a real treat. I had no idea there was so much inside that building. Everything was so nicely displayed and well kept and clean and with a friendly staff. There is something to interest everyone.
