Pretty much your standard museum with focus on he history of Greensboro. If you are going I would recommend doing on a bad weather day... it does beat just staying at home. It’ nice but just did not excite me personally.

This is the best of Greensboro's early history. This museum is set up by "rooms" and has beautiful, authentic furnishings. As you stand, taking in the beauty, you can even imagine the owners of the furniture, beginning their day or having a cup of tea....More

Very nice place to visit. It was free and when you have kids under the age of 10 years old. Who need to walk a lot is beautiful.

We got to the museum about 45 minutes before closing. Mistake. There is much more to see in this museum. It's tastefully done. The folks at the museum are incredibly friendly. The museum gives a good history of Greensboro and the surrounding area.

This museums is great to visit if you are visiting Greensboro. It has a lot of exhibits on the history of Greensboro. It is also worth asking for a visit of the McNairy house that is on the museum grounds.

Yes it is wheelchair friendly. They have elevators where there are stairs. There was someone on our tour with a wheelchair is how I know.
