This place is great for a summer walk. The natural cooling effect of the bog keeps it comfortable even on the hottest days. I went on a walk there on a sweltering July day with my son and we were very comfortable. There are also many turtles, waterfowl and other interesting wildlife and vegetation. Great place to get your kids... More

This park is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. Tranquil nature trails, a water fall, statues and benches. Wow

This is an underused gem in Greensboro. Take a break form the malls and enjoy nature. Great for all ages and all fitness levels. You can go everywhere or stay on more managed paths and walkways. A great escape from the heat in the summer or the crowds during the holidays!

This woodsy area with wooden sidewalks is one of the best public spaces in Greensboro. There are lots of birds and other wildlife to be seen, and many of the bog-specific plants are labeled discreetly, There's a large pond and a beautiful waterfall, and several different paths you can follow. Because it is a bog you see different things every... More

When I live din Greensboro NC 2 yrs. ago (2014) I went to the bog Garden many times. Every time I had a visitor I took them there. I loved watching the baby ducks swim with the parents, the owl who lives there and the beautiful landscape and wooden paths. The squirrels walk on the wooden railings looking for food... More

Went for a quick walk around the park. There's a cute little waterfall and the boardwalk is well kept as well as the side pathways you can take. We actually saw an owl resting in a tree! This is just a really nice park tucked away.. also an easy walk for any fitness level.

I am so happy I found this little gem tucked away behind the Friendly Center! In the middle of a busy day, it's so nice to walk through the winding trails and "get lost" in the middle of the city. Would absolutely recommend for people of all ages, as well as the bicentennial gardens across the street! Combine the two... More
