CGH experience is simply the best. We were looked after very well. I cant think of a better hotel chain that incorporates simplicity, great hospitality, traditional values and responsible packaging of the Kerala tourism product. Nothing to compare anywere close to it.

Amazing beach. Loved it. Clean and serene. There are lots of foreign visitors too taking sunbath. You can rent chair and Umbrella and can take a relaxing nap enjoying the sea breeze. There are local vendors which can help you get coconut water or tea on the beach itself. Can buy a ball and play around. Really would cherish the... More

A bit dirty in among'st the trees ( but this is India!) and the sea has a a big undertow, would not let children or poor swimmers go in the water,Apart from that stunning.

Nice sand beach, too crowded during the evening. Try to spend some time walking away from the beach entrance, away from crowds

Get a tuk tuk from Alappuzha here in about 30-40 minutes. The sunset was fantastic. Nice little restaurant that served good CHEAP curries. Definitely worth going when you have finished with the backwaters

Just 2.7 km from the Jain Temple, it has an outdoor pool while beachside dining is available. The spacious and airy villas come with full length windows and a private pool or garden views. Each includes a safety deposit box, kettle... More

Beautiful but fairly busy beach, very friendly cafe and vendors and not too pushy. Easy place to get to. We took the very picturesque route along the coast road from Fort Kochi down the coast road on a Royal Enfield. Possibly the best way to reach such a cool beach! Go there, it is certainly worth the effort and you... More

Decent beach with not much rush as it is slightly away from the city. The sand stretch is not much and you will get umbrellas and chairs for reasonable rates of around 100 bucks per hour. Sea is not very rough and you can have a nice bath.
