A very old church built many many years ago. It's construction is with teak wood. The surroundings are neat and clean. It's visited by many from far and wide. There's ample parking space. The church can be reached by boat as well.

I loved this old mostly wooden church, although the imitation of the Louvre in the back courtyard looks pretty hilarious! However what we appreciated most - its was meeting local cross maker Jacob and his assistant, it was great to see his workshop and to see his craft and hear the stories about the place!

This church is very good, pretty old according to the local people. The place was very calm and quiet when we went in the morning. The last supper carving at the side entrance very good. There are a couple of handicraft shops nearby, but somehow it was not attractive to us. It is situated on the banks of the backwaters... More

We visited this church from our trip on the backwaters which made a good contrast between all things water bound. It is one of the oldest Catholic churches in India and is the mother church of most of the Catholic Syrian churches in this Allepuzah district. It is very spacious inside and is a quiet and cool place to sit... More

Pallikkuttumma is in Alappuzha - Changanassery Highway. 3.3Kms from Pallikkuttumma to St.Mary's Forane church. It is a nice church and good atmosphere. If you want to see a... More

St. Mary's Forane Church is a very beautiful church and I was able to view the church on a rainy day and rain added more beauty to it. It is a big church and it is on the way to Tripunithura hill palace.

It literally at the heart of the town, despite that inside you will feel the tranquility. Very important relic of the catholic tradition is also kept in the church. It belongs to the traditional Sero Malabar (Indigenous) catholic church of Kerala which boasts of its almost 2000 year old existence and starting of the same by the baptisation of 7... More
