I remember this place 25 years back.. It was not very well kept. But now one should see this in the night it looks beautiful. It is situated in the middle of the lake between the city. There are a lot of attractions around this one.

Been to this place last month. A 10 min boat ride is all it takes to go there, place is clean but somehow I couldn't find the temple, may be it was closed. But still a recommended place do enjoy this beautiful sight right from the centre of river.

Its a prominent temple made in Rajasthani architecture. The maintainance of the lake is a bit poor . But during monsoon season this is like dreamland.

All the guide books warn you away from Kota. Admitedly it is a very busy commercial city. We were caught in really heavy traffic on the way from Highway 12, but we stumbled on this lake with a palace in the centre by chance. It was just so peaceful. We took a boat trip to the island, and enjoyed ourselves... More

The palace is made up of beautiful red sandstone which is illuminated during night and it offers a beautiful view... More

The architecture in the middle of a lake is interesting. Though not very well maintained, but one time visit by boat ride is not a bad idea at all. Afterall, one of the very few good places to visit at Kota, Note: Don't compare this place with Udaipur's Jagmandir, or else you will be utterly disappointed!
