The former royal palace of Tirtagangga (which means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river) features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.

we took almost 2.5 hours driving to get here from Ubud. The site is majestic with plenty Balinese statue around. Local believed the water is holy. Once you entering the gate be ready to walk in the middle of water with circle steps.

Visiting this king's palace is a delight. The main focus is on the exterior grounds with its besutiful gardens and waterworks.

We visited Tirta Gangga on a clear Nov afternoon and truly enjoyed the experience. The area is easy to get to with ample parking; secluded and peaceful. You can spend as much time as you wish, strolling through the garden and koi ponds, looking at the various water sculptures and all of the vegetation. It is a very nice place... More

Nice, you can swim there, but beware of biting fish when you dont move for a long time. Entrance fee is 35 000. You can jump on tiles above water as in Tomb Raider.

My wife and I took a day tour of Bali and one of our stops with Tirta Gangga. Our guides provided us with lots of history of the Balinese culture. This site had very nice museum as part of the site with more historical culture. I might visit again when in Bali

Arrived here after a long ride on the motorbike. Entered the park took some pictures and then had a nice refreshing swim in the pool. You pay an entrance fee and separate fee for the pool. The refreshing pool is very welcoming on a hot day. Don't stay too long here because it is not that special, nice enough for... More

I visited Tirta Ganga with my friends. We walked on the stone path in one of the water pools and enjoyed watching the giant fishes swimming around. The fountains and the water features are beautifully designed. There was a public pool where local people were enjoying and playing. I was impressed by the circle pad surrounded with statues representing the... More
