...it's real name if you look for it on google. The Raja of Karangasem had a knack for beautiful gardens. Enjoy the splendor of times long past while you can. It's a hidden gem in Bali's East far from the beaten tourist's paths. I enjoy it every time I am in Bali imagining to be a Balinese Raja from the... More

A palace with a vast set of ponds. Near Tirta Gangga. A vast and tranquil place to visit though not really too many unique things to see.

What a beautiful palace. In the old days, I imagine that this palace is very strategic due to its location at the waterfront. The pool surrounding the main building, creates such a dramatic scenery. Worth the trip after visiting Tirta Gangga on our way back to Kuta.

Ujung Water Palace is delightful to walk around, with an interesting history that is worth exploring as well. During my visit there were few people and some lovely photo opportunities.

What an amazing place to visit. The palace sits in the middle of the water with a bridge on two side to walk across to the palace. There is another building also in the middle of the water which is like a large meeting area. The palace was built in 1909 by two architects one Dutch and the other Chinese.... More

Absolutely worth a visit, so much beautiful flowers and the view from the top point is fantastic. You can swim here but we didn't do that because we were here quite early in the morning.

Our driver has never been to this place though he was born in Bali. When I told him that going to Karangasem was a must this time (our 3rd visit to Bali), he had to fulfill our request. He did try to offer elsewhere though.. We cannot blame him since the drive to Tirta Gangga & Ujung Water Palace was... More

The surrouding of water palace is very pleasant & green with water areas. Have some time in hand to relax and enjoy the area. Make sure you Walk up the stairs to enjoy the beautiful view of ocean on one side and water palace greenery. Must visit.

We highly recommend a visit to the Ujung Water Palace. Beautiful photo opportunities and it was not highly overrated. Very few people were there when we visited in September. It is well worth the drive to East Bali to see. If you climb the steps to the pavilions the view is breathtaking.
