We decided to do the World's End hike at mid morning as we tired from a previous day. Unfortunately the mist had risen and we saw nothing. However the Horton Plains park is worth a visit and the Baker's falls were spectacular.

One of the still few signed walks in Sri Lanka. Wonderful landscape, especially after the well-known world´s end rock and views.

We had rain during the trail. Due to that we were not able to see any view nor world's end. For us it was just an early wake up and breakfast and 'drying' time in the afternoon. Cloud forest though is beautiful.

The walk itself is fine - you will have no problems if you are scared of heights. However, there are a couple of viewing points where the views are spectacular, but if scared of heights you may not be able to get close... More

I wouldn't recommend it. Even with a harness there are stretches that will be a real challenge with a 1-year old. Stroller is a non-starter.
