Why Have I Never Done This Before?

I've been coming to Hot Springs since I was a child. It is now one of my wife's and my favorite places for a short couples' getaway. Interestingly enough, in all my visits, I have never experienced the one thing that put Hot Springs on the map, the bathhouses. The Quapaw is one of two bathhouses still in operation, and... More

My husband and I soaked in the pools and within the first three minutes of being there, I got hollered at by the staff multiple times. It was not professional and the manager came and apologized and gave me some bath salts as an apology. That was nice, but she talked so loud apologizing forever that I was completely embarrassed,... We went early and spent an hour or so in the baths. Very relaxing and the staff were very helpful. We followed that up with massages. I have lots of massages and mine was incredible!!

I will not go back to this bathhouse. I was told by a friend that my swimsuit might fade in the pool with the mineral waters so I wore a pair of white swim shorts and about 20 minutes there I was approached by the attendant saying there were a few people commenting on my suite was not appropriate and... Had a private bath for two. The staff was very friendly. It was a 20 minute soak, if you are pressed for time they will have you in and out within the hour. I found it just enough for a morning spent in Hot Springs.

We moved to the area in August and I have been wanting to visit here so I finally got around to actually doing it. I chose a private bath. I was able to get an appointment on the same day that I called. I arrived a bit early and it did not take long before they sent me to the... More

When I lived in Hot Springs the only game in town was the Buckstaff. We were back for a visit and I joined the family for a spa day. Wow, they are doing it right at the Quapaw. A host of services, attentive staff, well thought out operation. Pick the services that work for you and I don't think you... More

Quapaw Baths & Spa offers different options to guests. We selected the thermal mineral water pools which allowed us to stay as long as we wanted and soak in any of the 4 pools of water. Temperatures ranged from 95 to 104 degrees. After we paid, we were given towels and a key to a locker to store our clothes.... More

My husband and I go to the four open baths. ALL staff is so friendly and will help you any way they can. We get there at opening time (10.00 am) and leave around 3:00 or 4:00. Just make sure you pace yourself in the hot water so as not to get overheated. Everything is clean. The lockers are large... More
