Visiting friends in Madison from the UK, and we made a return visit after about 10 years since the last time. Great to see the investment in the Polar and Brown Bear complex, something that we definitely needed doing as they were in poor condition....More

Free small zoo that is the perfect size for small children. We went on a weekday and it was nearly empty and felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff was very friendly and had a wide variety of animals.

The zoo is very nice with many of the exhibits in simulated natural habitats. The great thing is that the zoo is FREE. It is also fairly small, so is perfect for young children that may tire in a larger zoo. Parking is also free.
