The Overture Center is beautiful and many good plays are performed there. The Capitol and plenty of nice restaurants are nearby.

The three auditoriums range in size to fit any act. The subscription season includes Broadway shows but there is a wide variety of other types of music and performances. A beautiful building and excellent acoustics in all of the theaters. Volunteers do a great job managing the crowds.

This place is incredible!!! The building is gorgeous, the seats are comfortable, and there is a good view from all levels - and I've sat everywhere. The entertainment I have seen here is engrossing and well cast. And you can enjoy it all while sipping your beverage of choice. Love, love, love it here!

Not a bad seat in the house. Been there numerous times. First-rate performances. The people in ticketing are easy to work with also if you need to change tickets. Great parking available.

Heart of State Street in Madison, what better place to see the Book of Mormon haha. Have seen lion king and wicked here as well. Year after year OC has a tremendous line up, make sure you get tickets early, they sell out extremely quick for popular shows.

Was very impressed with the theatre. Comfortable seating , easy in and out. Got there early and wondered around the overture center. They have an art exhibit on the third floor. I highly recommend this theatre.

We took my daughter to see Wicked here for her 10th birthday. The staff was amazing, starting with the woman who helped me purchase tickets. (my daughter is VERY short so she helped me find amazing seats and gave me a deal so I could afford them. Then when we got there we had about 3hrs until the doors open... More

Saw Lucinda Williams at the Capital Theatre. This is a beautiful theatre with ample leg room and great acoustics. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as this theatre is located within the Overture Center and we needed directions to find. Parking can be tricky around the theatre if there other events going on. The parking deck was full an... More

Went to see the Madison symphony orchestra here. Fantastic venue, basically a mini-broadway experience in madtown. Very elegant. I highly recommend it if they bring in some interesting events.

I went to the Saturday morning free children's program and was able to enjoy a wonderful and fun time. The entertainment was kinda corny, and geared towards kids a little older than my grandson, but the audience was having a great time. The Overture Center does a great job of offering programs for children. With something new every week this... More
