This is a park right on the Mississippi River with many benches where you can sit and relax and watch the boats go up and down the river.

Nice area. You can stroll along the water and watch the ships roll through. You can board ferries here. There are monuments. The area seemed pretty clean. People running or walking for exercise. Seen a little bit of everything.

This Park is a very long and wide brick walkway that runs alongside the Mississippi River. We started out at the dock for the Steamboat “The Creole Queen” and walked all the way to the Lighthouse from where the “Natchez” sets sail. Along the way...More

Named after philanthropist Malcolm Woldenberg, the Woldenberg Riverfront Park was opened to the public before in 1984. It was created on 16 acres of land that had been occupied by old wharves and warehouses along the Mississippi Riverfront near the historic French Quarter.

When you have had enough of the hustle and bustle of busy New Orleans, visiting the Riverfront Park is the cure. Much quite, beautiful view of the water, seats and benches, trees and shade, it is all there. Loved it.

The scenery was amazing, seeing the beautiful bridges in the background. I’ve grew up seeing this scenery in so many film, it was amazing just being here seeing Cruise ship’s steamboats just so much live passing by. Plus the history and the walkway. I love...More
