The band was fantastic, just the right mix of complexity and accessibility for jazz fans and newbies. The food was all well-seasoned, clearly a lot of love care and expertise goes into their kitchen. We enjoyed the gumbo (best cup I had this trip!), shrimp...More

We visited as the doors opened at 7pm and got a great table by the stage. The band was amazing and the waitress very helpful, constantly keeping us fed and watered! We had the mixed starters, chicken pasta dish and the steak and ale pie....More

This jazz spot was recommended by a tour guide as a place to listen to live music while dining on a Creole meal economically priced. The band took requests which were the traditional tunes (It's a Wonderful World, Tiger Rag), but it was pleasant to...More

I came with some friends from out of town, wanting a truly "New Orleans" experience," and that is what they got here. Decent quality dishes, typical of New Orleans (red beans and rice, jambalaya, shrimp, etc.). Not the best I've had in this town with...More

Good food, great music and lovely atmosphere. An 18% tip is automatically added to your bill. It is possible to just sit at the bar without eating, but most people were having food.

Went with some co-workers while at a conference in NOLA. Other places were packed but we were able to get a great table here. Service was quick and drinks were good. Great 6 piece band!

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great

The entrance fee is really nothing. I think 5 or 10 dollars. Probably $5.00. For that money you get to hear real NOLA jazz and the show is not over in 1 hour, You want to stay 2 or 3 or 5 hours - no problem. The drinks are... More
