During Jazzfest you are sure to catch Tab Benoit here at least once. Inexpensive tickets to give you up close and personal performance (about $25 each). Only drawback is there is very limited seating.

This is one of the best venues in NOLA with great bands with an excellent time bowling if you have the desire. Plenty of room to dance.

We had a great time bowling! The food was good and the band too! A really fun place to be for young and old!

My niece and I went to hear the live zydeco band they usually have on Thursdays. Doesn't start too late (for us older folks) and not too loud. You can dance, listen, and watch bowlers all at the same time. We had just eaten but...More

You will NEVER find a more switched on, fun place. A must see and experience. Dinner at Ye Olde College in and the evening at Rock N Bowl is a guaranteed great time. Old, young, hip, not so hip, no matter. Dont miss this. ☺

We were tipped by our hosts at La Belle Esplanade B&B to have dinner at Ye Old College Inn and then go next door to the Rock n Bowl for Zydeco night. Even if you don't bowl or don't dance, you've got to put this...More

We enjoyed a high school reunion here. Very casual and fun place. Would have been 100% better if they had turned the music down so we could have talked normally instead of screaming. Good food & service.

It appears, according to Google Maps, that the ST Charles trolley stops a mile or so from Rock N Bowl? If that's accurate, how far away is it, and do you think its a safe walk to and from the trolley?

If you're from out of town and don't necessarily know your way around I would suggest cabbing/ubering it there. It's not far. However, if you're in the mood to ride the streetcar all the way and then walk to Rock N' Bowl... More
Is there plenty of seating? My husband can't stand for long stretches.

We do have picnic tables inside the alley as well as a handful of high boy tables and chairs. If you are bowling, there are benching for you to sit on as well while you wait your turn.
Is this in a safe part of town to drive to in a rental car for a party of 4? Also, what time do you need to get there on Thursday Zydeco nights to be able to get a seat? Thanks!

Yes! You can most certainly get to us safely in a rental car. We have ample parking on site. 3 parking lots to chose from so you do not have to worry about finding off-street parking. Zydeco night starts at 8:30pm so... More
