Richard was convivial and his knowledge of the quarter, food, history and local people was outstanding. We experienced a power outage at one of the restaurants..Richard immediately left into action, made a call then invited us to his home and without missing a beat we enjoyed our dish in his beautiful courtyard. Magic!

I took the "Flavors of the French Quarter" tour in New Orleans. Richard, our guide, had intimate details of the restaurants we visited and of the French Quarter in general. We passed other history tours and they would exclaimed - "What, you get food with your tour! Why didn't we take that one?" Wear comfortable shoes and come hungry. There... More

We took the "Flavors of the French Quarter" tour on our first day in New Orleans. Our guide was Richard, and he was wonderful! He is so knowledgeable about the history of the French Quarter. At every stop, we not only learned some history behind the food we were eating, but also about each location. We learned so much that... More

This tour is excellent. Richard, our tour person was very knowledgeable regarding New Orleans history; local restaurants and things to do while in New Orleans. The tour was a little over three hours and was at a pace anyone could keep up with. We visited several restaurants and all the food was delicious. A must-do tour!

A group of us booked a private tour with Richard and he did not disappoint! Not only was the food amazing, but Richard was also very knowledgeable and passionate about the Food in New Orleans. He also provided us with some great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend, You won't be sorry!

We loved the history we learned! Friendly and delicious. Guide was knowledgeable and warm. Some of us have trouble walking and the tour allowed lots of sitting time.

This is a terrific tour if you are a foodie like we are. 5 stops, food at each stop and history along the way. Took the better part of three hours but we never felt rushed. Fun and interesting!

We had an amazing time on the Flavors of French Quarter tour! Our tour guide Richard was nice, knowledgeable, and clearly loves this city and its food. The pace was perfect with little stops between restaurants to point out places of interest. The food was great! There were a few differences from what was listed on the website, but every... More

My mother and I had Janice as our guide and she was absolutely terrific and professional. She did a great job and even gave some personal experiences to give our group insight of the local food.

I live in New Orleans and work in the French Quarter, so familiar with the day to day tourist industry. Having met Richard of Tastebud Tours on a walk one day, I decided to bring my parents who were soon visiting from Maine on one of their food tours. I was floored and utterly impressed. It was an experience for... More
