A great spot to people-watch, especially the bartenders. But the place is simply way too crowded. I have been to Carousel Bar on three different occasions at all different times and literally never had the opportunity to sit at the Carousel. Drinks are way too...More

The Carousel Bar is really unique and a must see. It's in a beautiful hotel with a fun atmosphere. Drinks were a little pricey but good. It definitely gets crowded, but it was worth a wait at the bar.

Simply put, this place is amazing! It's a unique property in a very unique city and really is a must-stop if you're visiting NOLA. There was a wait to get to the sitting area...but then again, what bar do you go to at 10 PM...More

I recommend going late morning/early afternoon. It's a fun little bar with great drinks. The bartenders are really fun to watch. They are true mixologists. They have fresh fruit and mix the drinks perfectly. It's got a real swanky vibe and you never know who...More

The Carousel does not have dueling Piano's. It's a great bar and does have music. The bar you are thinking of is Pat O' Brien's on St. Peter St. between Royal St. and Bourbon St. 5pm Mon.-Wed. and 2pm Thurs.-Sun.
