Not an imax, just a big screen. The movie was well done and we enjoyed learning about the Bayou and the damage done by humans. The theater volume was controlled by a deaf person. So loud it was unpleasant and unnecessary.

The documentary was called Hurricane on the Bayou. It was amazing. The venue was nice however the chairs were uncomfortable.

A conventional Imax theatre. Somewhat hard and uncomfortable seats. Technology good. Staff not very alert. "Cousteau Secret Ocean 3D" from 2014 - the very best 3D Imax movie that we have seen. Totally amazing pictures with breath-taking resolution. We are keen scuba divers and were...More

Oky so it was either the 3d ocean movie or the wild cats. Well that was easy we went with the ocean movie. We had to kill an hr so in that time we went into the aquarium and 1hr was enough for us. After...More

Great 3-D effects, not sure if wheelchair persons could do this show. Sounds and visual parts were wonderful. Not too long--long just enough to keep you interested.

We used to love going to the IMAX when in NOLA. It's now the Entergy Giant Screen Theater. We walked in to check out the showings....staff is about as friendly as doorknobs. There isn't a big variety of shows, but we did get a ticket...More

It's just a standard Zoo/Aquarium IMAX theatre that plays the same 3 movies over and over and over again from the early 1990s.

We picked up the Audubon Experience Package that included all four activities. The zoo is located more uptown and the aquarium, insectarium, and imax are in the French Quarter. You could pull off all 4 events in 1 day, but I think most would be...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
