Had an 1 1/2 wait for table at the restaurant on second floor (Adolfo's highly recommend this place as well) our dreaded wait ended up be a great experience. Had a great seat at the bar. Our server was awesome as well was the young local man playing some old school Jazz. Place is a total HomeRun

We walked to Frenchmen Street from Marriott Pere Marquette on a lovely spring day and desired a refreshing libation to whet our whistle. What we didn't expect was a lively group of regulars ready to entertain perfect strangers. We stayed a little longer than intended for just that reason. Its tiny, so don't go if you're part of a large... More

We stopped in to listen to Jazz while waiting for our table upstairs at Apple Barrel. It's refreshing to see young Jazz artists having fun performing in such a small, authentic atmosphere. It a great place to have 1 or two drinks. I'd do it again!

Cozy little dive with great music and cheap beer. Definitely worth a visit. There's a taco place across the street, food is amazing so maybe swing over there when you get hungry. I had pork and pineapple tacos, so good.

The sound of the Josh Benitez band brought us in and we were shocked at how tiny of a place this is but 2 hours later we were still there! Josh ripped though his whole set without taking a break! Bartender (young lady from Pittsburgh) was also a lot of fun. Give it a try!

Did not stay inside long, crowded but the 2 times we walked in excellent music. Decor that you would expect.

Please support small venues who appreciate customers!!! Don't support bamboulas with actual money. Feel free to support the band and buy your booze at a nearby store. They most likely will never know or care. Don't expect service, just move on.

Only down side was bartender! He entered 8 bucks to the cashier screen and claimed 12 for two beers!

We love the band The Slick Skillet Seranaders! The bar is small but very friendly and cozy. Highly recommended to visit!
