The comedy show and the facility itself was great. The location is easily accessible and the auditorium itself is comfortable. The sound for the show was very good as well. My rating is focused on the management and concessions. First the doors for a show...More

We went watch Louis CK last night and he was hilarious. MJT staff were rude and very slow. I stood in line twice for drinks and got so aggravated at the line not moving at all I left both times. I was there over 3...More

Absolutely breathtaking show. Was a bit disappointed that the venue didn't allow food or drink in the theater and wished more servers were available at intermission, but over all it's a great theater. I loved the box seats for private access in and out of...More

Fantastic venue for the performing arts...concerts, plays, operas etc. I saw the play "Miss Saigon" here many years ago...had to have it here instead of the Saenger, due to the scale sized helicopter being too large...great effect and show...Bravo!!

Enjoy attending the opera here. Easy to get to, plenty of parking and short lines to get in. Bathroom visits should be planned ahead, not all are located in the same place on each level. Preorder your intermission beverage, if you need to.

This was a nice theater, with comfortable seating and roomier aisles. We had seats on the floor and had a great view of the stage. We were far enough back to be able to see everything!

I visited the Mahalia Jackson Theater as an eager New Orleans tourist exploring Armstrong Park. I found the entrance dirty and the staff cold and unwelcoming. I left in disgust.

That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi
that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere

to be the very best of New Orleans culture and
