If you haven't visited Custer State Park in the last couple years you owe it to yourself to revisit the Park. The changes and upgrades are amazing, from New lodges, to upgraded cabins and the new visitors center with an amazing video on a really special curved screen. I can't say enough, get going and enjoy it all.

We loved our first trip here…so we came back to see it again. One of the finest maintained parks in the US. Loaded with wildlife and great scenery. Be sure to take the Safari trip into the deepest sections of the park off-roading it in ‘Jurassic Park Style Jeeps’. Worth every cent…see the buffalo, elk and long prong herds up... More

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting all of the different locations within Custer State Park. We stopped at several of the gift shops, camp stores, etc. and all of them were well stocked.

Another of America's gems. Big park, lots of wildlife and a sense of what our country looked like before we lied, cheated and stole every inch of land there was. You just can't go wrong visiting our great National Parks.

There is pretty much something for everyone in the Custer State Park/Black Hills area. Mt. Rushmore, the Mammoth Site, Wind Cave National Park, the towns of Custer and Hill City, and a great deal of wildlife. We stayed at Blue Bell Campground. Although the site was not very level the bathrooms were nice and clean and the campground was nicely... More

All we got to see was a couple of mules, we were told where the buffalo were but didn't see any. Not a lot else in the park other than deer.

We drove around this park on two different days. It is wonderful in the Spring as everything has babies. So cute! We actually found the buffalo herd with babies on both days around Swint Rd and Johnny Lame Rd. We also saw burros, antelope and prairie dogs. And the most beautiful scenery. Must see the view at the top of... More
