From the famed Needles Highway, bison to burros, Sylvan Lake kayaking to Harney(Black Elk) Peak hiking, this State park never ceased to amaze me. I can still close my eyes and smell that pine, fresh smell. A truly amazing State Park that you must experience!

A wonderful wilderness/wildlife experience for the whole family. We live just outside the park and love to take our guests there to see the park and the wildlife. Make sure you checkout the wildlife loop when visiting the park.

There is a fee to use the park. I believe it is $20 for a week pass. If you are staying in area sightseeing you will most likely use this pass several times. The park is beautiful and there are so many things to do....More
