We were so grateful to attend the church and experience the teaching of Sunday School by President Carter and the worship service. The whole procedure of getting the crowds of people in and out and still maintaining the integrity of a house of worship is...More

Arriving at 5:45 AM, we were car number 25 on April 8th, 2018. About 8:30, we were seated in the 9th pew from the front (there are 13 rows of pews). Many who arrived later than us were unable to secure a seat in the...More

This was absolutely one of the best things I have ever done with my son. Mrs. Jan, Mrs. Betty, Pastor Brandon and, of course, President Carter were so wonderful, welcoming and full of love. The Sunday school service and the church service were both amazing....More

What a lovely thing to do! It’s not often that you get to have your picture taken with a President so it’s worth the effort. Jimmy carter taught the Sunday School lesson before the regular service. If you stay through both, you can have a...More

This visit will go down as a top 5. President Carter is amazing. Personal, intelligent. He teaches 3x a month then sits with the congregation for service then sits for photos. Since he is 93, this opportunity will not last much longer. He is reducing...More

Always thought this church was a lot bigger. Jimmy Carter attends church here. All we could see was the church and the grounds. It looks like a nice southern church.

President Carter teaches Sunday school here several times a month (important to check timings). We were there the weekend Mrs. Carter underwent surgery in Atlanta the night before, but the President still came and spoke briefly to those in attendance, and stayed for photographs. No...More

Jimmy Carter delivered a heart-felt 45 minute Sunday School lesson in an intimate setting that was accessible to people of many faiths. After asking where everyone was from he began a lesson about faith with a story of being with Sadat and Begin at Camp...More

My friend and I have wanted to attend President Jimmy Carter's Sunday School class for quite some time, and finally made the trip to Plains. We loved every minute of the experience. President Carter is still an engaging speaker, even in his 90's! He applied...More
