Our hotel gave us a summer Kaprun card so we were able to get to the top free of charge. It was beautiful, even on a cloudy day and we thoroughly enjoyed the free sledging at the top in the Ice Arena.

Summer card gives you a €1 bus ride from Zell am Zee and three free cable car and gondola rides. Tunnel takes you to the ice area where there is a small free toboggan ride.
