We have stayed in Ischgl for two weeks in each off the last 3 years, it is a fantastic summer holiday location with plenty of walking and cycling, the transport system is first class although it is the survival of the fittest and strongest when...More

Skied the pistes of Ischgl for a week and the were very good. I'm an expert skier and the black and red slopes were mostly in excellent condition. I can't speak for the off-piste as I didn't ski any.

You can go by five cable cars from the Austria to the Switzerland in one go and with the Silvretta card for free. It´s a very good offer.

Stayed in town, plenty of accommodation options. Catch the gondola from the centre of town straight up the mountain. Epic selection of runs. Plenty of places to stop for refreshments, and ski directly back into town for amazing apre ski options! This is an amazing...More

An excellent area for intermediate skiers with a wide choice of runs. A choice of 3 lifts out of the resort up to the main ski area and plenty of excellent and efficient chair lifts serving the different pistes. There are also duty free runs...More

End of season. Good weather meant slushy slopes, bad weather brought fresh snow and even powder. The size of ski area and number of chairlift is impressive. Use the map and organize meeting point in case the group gets separated. One regret, not many slope...More

Brilliant area, easy to buzz around with super fast lifts everywhere, tons of easy to access off piste - loads of great mountain huts/restaurants. Only downside was limited trees on flat light days but otherwise one of the best areas I have visited.

extensive skiing area mostly suited for intermediate skiers. very modern and efficient lift system. it vary quite busy when we visited the week before easter and the quality of the pistes deteriorated after 1pm, mainly due to the rather warm weather.

Well its for sure a party town, Apres Ski is equal to the ski, both are great but its going to burn a hole in your pocket. Well worth a visit, dance the day away on the mountain and try not to damage yourself getting...More

No, not unless you want to explore the wider area. The village itself is not thaaat big, you can easily walk around. Also, there's a tunnel for pedestrians that connects the two main areas of the village.

There's lot of easy tracks for the beginners although they get crowdy during the day. For beginners I would recommend one of the neighbor ski areas: Kappl, Galtur or See. All of them are in the same valley as Ischgl and are... More
