Best summer ever in Medjugorje with friends and family, praying all day and night for peace worldwide, and for the forgiveness of God. This country is wonderful , plenty of trees and rivers and the most important thing is the church that all kind of people from everywhere and from far lands come to pray for God and for their countries... My wife and I visited Medjugorje during a recent visit. We were staying in Dubrovnik and hired a car through a local tour company. My wife's relatives, who are Croatian, suggested we go. They have been before on Pilgrimages. The ride from Dubrovnik can take some time as you have to pass the borders through Bosnia and Herzegovina there and... More

Church is the central place in this small town. From the nearby hill you can see whole landscape. But if you seek peace and comfort in your prayings, you will find it here

Never having the urge to visit Medjugorie, I did go recently when invited by a group of friends who have been several times before. The journey in the coach from Dubrovnik airport, along the Croatian coast was beautiful. Medjugorje is located in the southern part of Bosnia Herzegovina, which used to be a former republic of Yugoslavia. Bosnia and Herzegovina... More

Part of an organized group, we participated in the evening worship program, but importantly were familiarized with the history of the region and the visions which began 35 years ago. So many people of faith seeking reassurance and celebrating their beliefs, it is a place unlike any other I have visited.

We visited Medjugorje as part of our Pilgrimage Trip for Jubilaeum Misericordia. The place was not like Lourdes nor Fatima. The St James church where all the mass was taken place was simple, humble yet graceful and meaningful. We decided to go to the Apparition Hill early in the morning. We started our journet by car to go uphill. When... More

One square mostly made of rock in town Međugorje in close vicinity to church. If you plan to visit Međugorje, you won't be able to miss it since it is directly next to church. Nice sight.
